An evening of Casino fun is planned for Friday, October 26th at Michael’s on East Ballroom. All proceeds benefit the St. Jude Church/Hispanic American Center.
Cocktails and Silent Auction begin at 6 p.m. with a Casino training session at 6:30. At 7 o’clock the Casino opens with poker, roulette, blackjack, and slot machines. Casino prizes include golf foursomes and gold jewelry.
The Cocoa Latin Band provides the dance music. Food stations all night and open bar. Individual reservations are $150 per person. For more information, call 955-3934.

Join the fun for a full day of food, music, entertainment and exhibit booths on Saturday, November 10th. In its 5th year the Hispanic Festival, held on the grounds of St. Jude Church at 3930 17th Street, will be bigger and better than ever before.
Over 5,000 people regularly attend this event to sample the native dishes of Peru, Venezuela, Cuba, and other Latin American countries. There are activities for the kids and music for entertainment or dancing.
Medical booths offer advice and tips for healthy living. Local businesses are encouraged to reach out to the community with informational exhibits.
